This Privacy Policy describes how OurOdysea LLC collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects your information when you use the DoseStack mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1) Scope & Purpose
DoseStack is a personal health-tracking and organizational tool that allows users to record, store, and review self-entered information regarding medications, hormones, peptides, supplements, symptoms, wellness indicators, and related data.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: DoseStack does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, dosing recommendations, or clinical decision support. DoseStack is NOT a medical device and is NOT a substitute for professional medical care. All information is for personal tracking and informational purposes only. Use of the Services does not create any doctor–patient, provider–patient, or fiduciary relationship with OurOdysea LLC. Users are solely responsible for consulting licensed healthcare professionals regarding all medical decisions.
2) Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide Directly
• Account Information: name, email address, date of birth, sex, login credentials, and profile details.
• Health & Tracking Data: medication names, dosages, administration routes, schedules, injection sites, treatment protocols, symptoms, wellness ratings, laboratory values, and personal notes.
• User Content: dose logs, treatment programs, reflections, provider visit summaries, exported reports, and any other content you create within the app.
• Support & Feedback: communications you send to our support team, survey responses, and feedback submissions.
• Subscription & Billing Information: subscription status, transaction receipts, and purchase history received from Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other direct payment instruments.
Sensitive Data Warning: Do not submit Social Security numbers, insurance identifiers, full payment card numbers, or government-issued IDs through DoseStack. All health-related data is voluntarily self-entered by users and is not clinically reviewed or verified by OurOdysea LLC.
B. Information Collected Automatically
• Device Information: device type, model, operating system, and app version.
• Usage Data: features accessed, frequency of use, in-app actions, and diagnostic data.
• Crash Reports & Performance Logs: error logs, performance metrics, and diagnostic information used to improve app stability.
• Network Information: IP address (used for approximate location determination), connection type.
• Identifiers: authentication tokens, push notification tokens, and anonymous analytics identifiers.
C. Information from Third-Party Sources
• Apple App Store and Google Play Store: billing records, subscription status, and receipt validation data.
• Authentication Providers: identity tokens and basic profile data if third-party sign-in is used.
• Analytics & Infrastructure Vendors: aggregated usage data from analytics services (e.g., crash reporting tools).
D. Third-Party SDKs and Services
DoseStack integrates the following third-party services that may collect data as described in their respective privacy policies:
• Supabase (authentication and database hosting) — processes account credentials and stores user data.
• RevenueCat (subscription management) — processes subscription status and purchase receipts.
• OpenAI (AI-powered summaries) — receives anonymized health data snippets to generate provider visit summaries. No personally identifiable information is sent unless included in user-entered notes.
• Postmark (email delivery) — processes email addresses for report delivery.
• Expo / React Native (app framework) — collects crash reports and diagnostic data.
Each third-party provider is contractually obligated to protect your data in accordance with their published privacy policies and applicable law.
3) How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
• Create and manage your account.
• Provide dose tracking, reminders, and scheduling tools.
• Generate reports, summaries, and data exports at your request.
• Process and manage subscriptions through Apple and Google platforms.
• Provide AI-powered features such as provider visit summaries and pattern detection.
• Send service-related communications (e.g., account verification, security alerts, subscription notices).
• Monitor and improve app performance, stability, and security.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
• Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and respond to lawful requests.
• Conduct internal analytics and research to improve the user experience (using aggregated or de-identified data).
We do NOT use your data for:
• Targeted advertising or behavioral ad profiling.
• Selling, renting, or leasing personal data to third parties.
• Cross-app tracking for advertising purposes.
4) Health Data Responsibility
All medical and health-related information is entered at your sole discretion and risk. OurOdysea LLC does not verify the accuracy, completeness, appropriateness, or safety of any health data entered into DoseStack. You assume full responsibility for any reliance on information stored or displayed within the Services.
5) Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
• Service Providers: With contracted vendors who assist us in operating the Services (hosting, analytics, email delivery, payment processing). These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
• Safety and Protection: To protect the rights, property, or safety of OurOdysea LLC, our users, or the public.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case your data may be transferred to the successor entity.
• With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share your information with a third party.
6) Data Retention and Deletion
• Active Accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active.
• Deleted Accounts: Upon account deletion, your personal data and associated content are permanently deleted within 30 days. See our Delete Account Policy for full details.
• Compliance Records: Certain records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable law (e.g., financial transaction records, fraud prevention).
• System Logs: Technical logs and backups are rotated and purged on a regular schedule, typically within 90 days.
• Anonymized Data: De-identified, aggregated data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement.
7) Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data (see Section 6 and our Delete Account Policy).
• Data Portability: Request an export of your data in a structured, commonly used format.
• Opt-Out: Opt out of non-essential communications.
• Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, use the in-app tools in Settings or contact us at support@ourodysea.com. We will respond within 30 days.
For California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
For EEA/UK residents (GDPR): You have additional rights including the right to restrict processing, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
8) Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the in-app Settings screen or by emailing support@ourodysea.com. Upon deletion, all personal data, health records, logs, and associated content are permanently removed within 30 days. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it through Apple App Store or Google Play Store before or after deleting your account, as account deletion does not automatically cancel platform-managed subscriptions.

9) Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
• Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
• Role-based access controls for internal systems.
• Regular security monitoring and vulnerability assessments.
• Secure software development practices.

10) Data Processing and Storage Location
The Services are operated primarily from the United States. Your data is processed and stored within the United States using secure cloud infrastructure. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States.
11) Children’s Privacy
DoseStack is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the applicable age, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@ourodysea.com.
12) Automated Features and AI
DoseStack uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to generate provider visit summaries, detect patterns, and provide motivational content. These automated features:
• Are provided for convenience and informational purposes only.
• May be incomplete, inaccurate, or not applicable to your situation.
• Do NOT constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
• Should always be reviewed with your healthcare provider before taking any action.
Data sent to AI services is minimized to what is necessary for the requested feature and does not include your name or email unless present in user-entered notes.
13) Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of any third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.
14) Push Notifications
With your permission, we may send push notifications for dose reminders, subscription updates, and service announcements. You can manage notification preferences in your device settings at any time.
15) Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
• Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
• Notify you through the app or via email for significant changes.
• Post the updated policy at our publicly accessible URL.
Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
